Slave Nation / Kalyn 4 Mayor is a 20 page, 5.5 x 8.5" “cat-dog” zine (you can start if from either side and it flips in the middle) featuring reproductions of prints made from engraved traffic cones by Denver's Frank Kwiatkowski "the father of the conecut." The cover is printed in silver ink off of Frank's engraved traffic cones on 120lb. red or blue Neenah Plike with a Vandercook Letterpress. The interior pages are scans of Frank's prints with commentary and quotes digitally printed on 80lb. coated white text-weight stock.

Slave Nation is an aesthetic and poetic examination of Neue Denver and issues of displacement, gentrification, rampant property development, #occupy, and resistance.

Kalyn 4 Mayor supports the 2019 progressive campaign of Wheelchair Sportscamp front person and MC Kalyn Heffernan for Denver Mayor. Kalyn advocates for disabled, women, queers, indigenous people, people of color, marginalized communities and artists in the free spirit of our collective survival.
