SIGNS & letters is published as a collaboration between DATELINE gallery and is PRESS.
SIGNS & letters is a 24 page, 5.5 x 8.5" zine featuring four projects and the corresponding Incidence Reports from an August 2015 solo exhibition of the same name by Peter Miles Bergman at DATELINE Gallery in Denver, Colorado.
SIGNS & letters documents four art interventions. Two signs: the conversion of a West Denver alley to a Fantasy Football Parking Lot where patrons to the nearby football stadium were invited to NOT park, and a faux real-estate sign advertising the development potential of the 13-acre Colfax and Federal clover leaf interchange. And two letters: a form letter invitation to lunch placed on white Volkswagen Cabriolet's in San Diego for a period of one year and unsolicited photocopied news articles on the death penalty mailed to Jim Kiel of Aurora Colorado for 30 days in response to a letter to the editor he wrote advocating a 100 point crime tracking system that would result in an execution.
